How to create beautiful monochromatic interior design.

May is our first month together so I will start with basic interior design and decorating. The first thing to understand is color schemes.
Today is going to be all about monochromatic interiors - one colour. It is very important to know the do's and don't when it comes to this color sheme.
Monochromatic color schemes are derived from a single base hue and extended using its shades, tones and tints. Those tints are achieved by adding white and shades and tones are achieved by adding a darker color like gray or black
Keep in mind that it is best to use different different tones and tints, the space could become overwhelming quite fast with the same orange (as seen in picture below). The blue monochromatic space is very well balanced, the shades of blue and the texture creates interest in the space.
